sohc coffee table

Almost done with this project. I had an extra sohc block left over from my 240sx stuff.

but unless it was THOROUGHLY cleaned. wont it make your home smell like .... an old motor?

It has been degreased, and there are no internals in it at all, no valves, springs, crank, anything. No grease smell.

I would think you'd be better off taking the oil pan off in that case, and just putting some foam feet thingies in the corners.

very nice! I've been wanting to do this with an old ls1 block, or really pretty much any aluminum v8.

You can get the dohc aluminum v8 out of a lincoln mark viii for 300 bones or less. I snagged one for $200 back at the beginning of this year.

haha my spare KA block ended up being a table unintentionally. that ones pretty sick! nice color scheme too! except for that gold front cover lol
