SOHC cam regrind / standalone ECU

Hey everybody,For all the SOHC people out there with a cam, what was the max lift for intake/exhaust you could run before the valves became uncomfortably close to the pistons? about .447-.452 is ideally what i'd like to run. Anyone here running a standalone ECU on their SOHC motor?

Talk to the folks on http://www.freshalloy.com

they seem to be much more fluent in the numbers and clearances department when it comes to the KA.
