SOHC and DOHC compatibility

Just wondering what is needed for a ka24e to ka24de swap. I know I'll need the DE ecu, but does it hook up to the E transmission? What about engine mounts, exhaust components, and the various hoses and EGR crap?

quick question im very new to this 240sx thing i have a rx7 i dumped most my time into. and the more i read the more i get mixed up. i own a '95 240sx only had it for 2 weeks now my question is : is it for sure a dohc? or did they come in both sohc & dohc, if so how would i go about finding out which one i have sorry i have to post my question here but as a new guy to this forum i cannot figure out how to post a "new thread" if anyone can help me with that it would be great too. sincerly -jason

Your 95 is a DOHC (pop the hood and you can see it says TWIN CAM 16 VALVE) and for the 240SX, SOHCs only came in the 89-92? I believe.
