sohc and dohc coil

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

im doing the sohc to dohc swap, and i need to know if i can just use the sohc with the dohc coil, or would i have to get a dohc coil?

i did the soch to dohc and u need to get the dohc coil.. i cant remember why but i think the plugs are different.. also the coil backets are different.

the reason why the plugs are different is because in a soch the plugs reach to head from the side where as the dohc they have to be long enough to go bbetween both cams and make it through the head...and im not really sure about the coil...i kno they are different from s13-s14 but not 100% on sohc to dohc
