ok, a while ago i noticed a soft rubbing sound almost (as if it were the brakes), its only noticeable in 1st, 2nd, and under 2k rpm in 3rd... you need to turn the sterio down low to hear it

im only concerned that it could be the clutch or syncros rubbing, its deffinatly coming from the transmittion, i have the center consol off and its very hearable

any clue? should i invest in a new clutch? (i plan on it but wanted to wait till the current one was shot)and I was also told it could also be the syncros, but from an unreliable source

its not devistatingly loud, just enough to annoy you and make someone parinoidIm only wishing for opinions b/c if I race the car again im afriad something'll go at the track...

thanks: Jon
