Hi, so I've been troubleshooting my brakes on my z32 and I've hit a wall, so I was wondering if anybody could help me. I've replaced the brake master cylinder and bled it, checked for any bad hoses (replaced one in the rear passenger), replaced the rear passenger brake caliper, and bled all the brakes (and abs system). My pedal has gotten better, but it's only firm when I press it a few times to build pressure. Any idea what the issue could be?

Hi and welcome to NICO Club! 99% of the time a firm pedal is all about bleeding correctly. ABS does add a bit of a curve-ball to the procedure. The FSM will have detailed instruction. Please look at the link to the FSM and look at PDF page number 633 for the Brake System. Bleeding as well as diagnoses/ troubleshooting are found in that chapter. Pay close attention to the order of the valves being bled. Consider doing the bleeding with a friend to help actuate the pedal for you.

Agreed...I once took two days to get my brakes bled correctly, mostly because of faulty help and caliper installation, but basically the idea is that air still exists and will leave the pedal soft until it is all gone. The ABS bleed is a bit of a hassle, but done correctly as with the calipers you will have the firm pedal you need.
