SoCalVersaClub where you at?

ok....just to fill you guys in on what is going on, life has been interesting for me lately. About 2 weeks ago my roommate got a job in Fresno so we went up, looked at houses and she found one that she is going to buy. With her being gone I cannot afford to keep my house (I just don't make the money) so...I applied also and as of today I got a job in Fresno as well.

So long story short I am moving to Fresno I actually start work on the 8th of September but in the meantime I am having to get my house ready to sell so I am having people come out to give me estimates on fixing it up etc...there is alot of work that needs to be done. I am giving my notice at work on wednesday this coming week and if they hold true to form they will just let me go (they have been doing that lately). So...my life has been and will be really busy in the next few weeks.

In other news I know alot of us had talked about going to the Track so...The october meet was going to be at the SOLO race at California Speedway on Saturday October 11th. That being said up front I have no idea if I am going to be able to make that. Being in fresno now it is a 3hour drive + or - and I am going to be working 12 hour night shift 7p to 7a.

I know Bob has contacts with Solo and probably has way more information than I do. Unless someone has some other ideas or wants to do something else I think that is a good plan for the next meet.

Damn dave, i hope everything works out for you man. sounds like ur gonna have a hectic next several weeks, hopefully u can make it down to future meets though

20th? thats a lil abrubt i think i dunno. we should all go to a track IMO. or find some crazy windy road back road. there is a solo 2 event goin on this weekend. my bday is the 16th! haha yay!

OK...have offically moved to Fresno now but I have no internet or cable TV at home yet...friggin cable company says it will be 30-45 days before they get it to our house so we went with Dish for now...Damn I hate DSL. Right now I am mooching internet off of my local starbucks and the sad thing is that I spend HOURS in here taking up space to use it...damn their music SUCKS! In any case I am not on here as much as I would like to be but hopefully that will change friday.

Also, next meet is scheduled at the track in October.....I kinda deferred to Bob since he has obviously done these more than me and knows more about it. I am hoping to be there, but I don't have my schedule yet at work.

OH yeah, started my new job at the hospital, it's pretty kewl so far with lots of room for advancement, they even have a program where they will put you through nursing shool which is where the big bucks roll in. My roommate (an RN) makes $46 an hour and got a $20k sign on bonus....I think I could handle that....Hope to see you guys soon!

yes meet this saturday... i still cant think of a location... but im going to work on the hatch tonite, as soon as i pick up my wife from work... and then ill go to the glass place in the morining... it doesnt look as hard as Bob described it to be....

Is that Griffith Park place convenient for most people or do we need somewhere in the OC? Maybe Long Beach or Huntington (can ya tell where I live)? Or somewhere more inland?
