Nice... Guess the new one is the same color as mine. Cant wait till you get it looking as clean as the first one was. I love a clean looking factory improved car as much as I like a bad azz purpose built one. Just costs a little more and takes a little more work if your not starting out with a clean car to begin with..

I miss your old car still... sad to see it meet it's demise like that. But hey it happens.

You gonna do up the interior like you did the old one??

I feel ya just put in the same amount of TLC and this one will be just as bad if not better. It may be even more gratifying since you will actually be doing it to her to get it back to form. I'm doing that now with no real training at all just a good reader lol. I hope mine will look as good!

same here. my pops is a master tech for mercedes goin on like 30+ years. i consult him when im having complicated issues but for the most part i tore apart, rebuilt, tore apart, crashed, rebuilt, crashed, started over, tore apart, and rebuilt my cars by myself. you learn more when you make your own mistakes. like dont have your face under the catalytic converter when you unbolt it. wont make that mistake again. or using a pocket knife to cut a harness and having the safety fail and cut your finger legitimately in half and you dont have health insurance. knowledge and super glue my friend. you can never have enough.

Ya damn right the funny parts is we have nearly the same ideas about how we want our 240's to be dude. Oh and btw the panels are coming along nicely in fact you could never tell the passenger side had been dented unless you really look at the like two ripples lol which will go bye bye soon, plus not only did I finish like half the car today but I installed them coils and such I am on a roll today.

ya i need to drop the rear about 2 more inches, but these 18's just dont tuck like my old 7 spoke SE's. had no wheel gap and the frame riding about 2'' off the ground.
