Is this literally a dyno that rolls? How odd. How would they dyno AWD cars?

Ok serious time. What exactly is this? I've never seen one when I goto Westminster for Vietnamese food. And if it's voluntary why are people stressing out about it?

They don't ask if you want to take the test lol. They have CHP there a lot of the time ready to hand out citations.

Because people can't read previous posts from previous threads that say it's voluntary. Because they **** bricks when they see a dyno on the street and make assumptions on what it does.

+1. Look around for some literature on the subject, you are not by any means required to participate in these "surveys" but I've read that if you do not your vehicles plate number is recorded for "analysis" whatever that may be.

and for AWD vehicles I believe they test in neutral.

Hmm, can't wait til my CHP stuff goes through.

Then I don't have to worry about it. :D

I have most of my CHP stuff in my passenger seat anyways.

Still tempted to have my stepdad as a co-owner on my car to get his name on the plate. He's LA Sheriffs.
