We could go to super autobac's, but I don't entirely see the point. Not trying to be rude. I spend a large portion of the week looking at parts, I was hoping our meet would be for driving and checking out each other's rides.

If anybody else feels different, please chime in. Any other location suggestions are also welcome. This IS NOT a dictatorship. Democracy reigns.

Also, pae9132, Your signature is TOO LARGE. Maximum sig size is like 200x600 pixels. You need to chop down your picture and resize it. If you don't know how, just send it to me and I'll do it for you.

I too fail to see the point at going to Super Autobac's...my point of meeting up is to see my fellow members' rides and take a cruise in a line of sexy G's.

I have no preference in location, somewhere to start a nice drive would be great. I am not terribly familiar with anything north of Irvine...never need to go that far for anything!

Well I was thinking of Super Autobacs as a midway point between LA and Orange county plus they have meets there all of the time. It's a small shopping area so they have plenty of parking. I didn't see where you guys met up last time but I figured it would be better then a Wal-Mart!! Yeah I noticed my pic is too big too...I will try to fix it soon! And i personally don't mind if maxi's are in on the meet because I used to have one

I'm not going to be able to be there, but I do have a suggestion... Why don't you all take a drive up the Ortega Hwy, over to the Elsinore side? Lots of great twisty road, and nice scenery... not to mention good restaurants to be had on both sides of Saddleback.

It's kinda far to the south, but a great drive.

I was going to suggest the 74 as well...but I felt it was too far south for some of the other members.

We need to check with Yerv. He and Serg are coming from Glendale.

Logically, Anaheim is the midway point for us, but there's nothing special about being there.

I suggested Newport last time because it's fairly easy to find and it's right off of PCH.

It was cool...I got there at 6:00 and Nathaniel didn't roll around until 7:30ish! Bastard! Then he dragged us all to this diner where he and his wife ate...then we drove. I had to leave the cruise early since I had plans at 9:00.

Hey Hey Hey!!!

I was busy trying to get a new member there since he didn't know how to get there.

Plus it was more like 6:45, not 7:30.

Let's put the day into perspective. I woke up around 7. I packed 13 7'x2' corogated plastic signs and 13 aluminum tripods into my G plus a case of water and some uniforms.

I drove around from 10:30 until 4:30 supervising and putting 100 miles on my car. I rushed home, got all that **** out of my car, got John's CF lip, then drove to Riverside to pick up my wife, then drove to Tustin to find Tom and Amanda. Tom and I misscommunicated and I waited about 10 mins for him to get to me. Then he wanted to wash his car which took another 5 mins, then we drove down to find you guys.

I would have been there just after 6:00 had there not been hiccups along the way.

Also, nobody dragged you to the diner. Anybody could have said no. Let's go drive.

I personally thought everybody would have liked to talk with each other a little before going out and driving. Especially since our drive consisted of me in the lead which was like waiting for my 50+ y/o in-laws to follow me on a road trip.

Next meet, if there is one, I wanna hear what everybody wants EXACTLY!. I'm thinking a track or drag meet might be more appropriate so we don't go 90 in 40 zones again.

Haha, I was just giving you a hard time man...I thoroughly enjoyed my nap! I also got my passenger seat release switch for the rear passengers fixed while I waited.

It was cool just sitting and talking face to face for a bit...I had no problem with the diner.

I had my girlfriend stay at home...I didn't know everyone else was bringing their significant other along, next time she will be with us!

GF? Interesting. I would have suspected otherwise.

I mentioned significant others on the first meet thread. Actually, I think it would be hawt for them to drive their little toyotas on our next meet.

Crystal's Celica and Amanda's Corolla S

Crystal and I liked you. You get an actual name in my addy book instead of just being written on some random piece of toilet paper lol.

Tom and Amanda were cool too.

I wonder wtf happened to Yerv and his GF.

I think our next meet should involve a whole weekend drive up PCH to Malibu. The drive is gorgeous.

Then we can bring the girls and "Enjoy" the weekend

My girlfriend's PT Cruiser will take the Celica and Corolla S to lunch! ...I call it the great blue wall.

Yerv took it upon himself to pass us all when Tom and I were ahead of the bunch just before I dropped behind you and made my left onto Broadway and make the 10 minute drive home. Yerv needs a new headlight bulb too!

PCH to Malibu could be nice...would be a beautiful drive indeed.

I am getting my spoiler re-painted and installed for the third time today...hopefully no bubbles this time. The insane heat here lately coupled with the black paint is making for some unhappy conditions for the new paint.

Is it one of those replica spoilers?

I was a little concerned about the idea of painting over urethane, but I stayed quiet.

Yeah, it was Kenrik's replica. Most of the problem comes from the paint color absorbing all the light (see: heat)...he painted a DG one with no problems. They are using some different type of primer that does some crazy sealing...almost like making its own new layer of urethane. We will see how it goes, they are treating me very well and guarantee the paint as long as I have the spoiler.

I don't know dude. Crytal drives that Celica like nobody's business. I kind of wish it was the GT-S instead of just the GT, then it would peak out at around 200 HP with the extra valve lift.

Right now it puts around 125-130 to the wheels which isn't bad for a 2400lb car.

I hate her when she reports her 29-30 MPG city driving

Imma talk to Noah about posting an interest group regarding the CF parts. The next set should look sweet. This time I'll do it with some day light when the temp is above 60 degrees F. lol.

We started at Newport Pier and drove up PCH to the far side of Laguna.

My tardiness and a flake or two ended things abruptly when Grant headed home, Yerv's GF must have gotten all and convinced him to head home too. So it was John, Tom, and I left, but Tom's cell phone was dead and he disapeared too, so John and I drove back to the MacArthur and went our separate ways.

I was going to take pix, but I guess everyone was eager to get to driving. I should have gotten a few parking lot pix with the 4 black Gs and one DG. We had 4 generations all together.

I hope next time we can "Pack" drive instead of this follow the leader crap. I like seeing everyone together as a cohesive mass weaving through traffic.

I'd still love to do the Malibu drive or farther. Bring the girls, stay at a motel up there (maybe we can get a group rate with enough people).

I'm just playing with ya. Yerv is who I'm really still wondering about. I know he hasn't been on lately, but it's curious that he would drive 100+ miles for 15 mins of driving and then head home.

Maybe it just wasn't the turnout he hoped it would be. Seems like decisions were hard to come by regarding the meeting place, and made at the last minute. It's hard to get everyone on the same page that way. No finger pointing meant here... just an observation. This is exactly why guys create car clubs... to have more structure, a decisive plan, and more dedicated involvement.
