SoCal M part deux! April 3rd, Newport Beach

ok Socal M's, here it is. the much anticiapted M meet....repeat

the location is going to be the oceanfront parking lot #21. when i used to have my Camaro, we used to hold meetinngs there. it's got a big parking lot and the ocean is right there behind it. time is going to be 8:30 am. there is a Ruby's diner i believe at the end of the Newport Pier. so after we meet up, we can all grab some breakfast over the ocean, and then head out after a few hours of eating, BSing and talking about M's or any other car of choice.as the list grows ill be updating the main post with everyone that will be going. here is the location:

it looks like parking is not free and look bit crowd for a car meet. Like I said last time, a car meet place should be somewhere that is visible for everybody, spacious, and easy in and out so that way u will not waste too much time just to locate the meeting spot.

Nice location. I don't know if you already have a place in mind for some early morning chow, but if u want to cruise PCH for a little bit as well, head south on PCH towards Laguna (the south of end of Newport Beach) to a place called Rose Donuts (in Corona Del Mar. They have killer sandwiches, breakfast burritos, and yes, donuts, coffee, lattes, etc, for a decent price. They have indoor and outdoor seating right along PCH too. It's 5 miles south of the pier, so it'll be about a 15-20 minute cruise (estimated w/ the normal PCH weekend traffic and speed limit) from the pier. It's a nice drive though, wish i could be there (but I guess San Diego Gas Lamp District will have to suffice ).

Man too bad i dont live in cali anymore, i used to always go to N.B. so i know exactly where that spot is at. I think once Im out of the military I will move back there. Good luck in the meet everyone.

no no no. it's completly empty in the morning. hence why we are doing it so early. here is a few shots of when i took my old SS camaro to the meeting we used to hold there. PARKING IS FREE!!!

I am still trying to see if my schedule will permit me to do the early AM drive to Newport!
