i have a 2008 honda accord and im thinking about buying a set of G37 OEM 19in rims. i think the bolt pattern is the same 5x114 and the offset is pretty close but i just wanted to make sure that this will fit properly without too much modification or wheel spacers.

if you'd be willing to help me out with a quick test fit please contact me. im just looking to test out a set of the OEM 19s before i buy them. i am located in the socal/los angeles area.

if you're looking to sell these please let me know.

these are the rims im looking for:

are they only for the G37 sport package? or do all the current G37 (sedan AND coupe) come with these rims?

Only the coupes come with these... They fit on the sedan if you get two sets of fronts... The rear rims are a little wider... I think by .5 and they offset is different. They may rub on the rear of the G sedan.

I have the wider ones on my g and they are fine... so it depends on the car.. I had to have the rear camber fix so that it would not rub. But that was only after the dealership replaced the compression rods..

I am sure the 18's would fit as I put my 18's on my mothers Camry lol... I don't think the 19's will fit right... Plus why would you have wider wheels on the rear if the car is FWD?

Good luck

im not really buying the rims for the fact that they are staggered. that doesnt really sell me on the wheels. i just really like the design.

Enkei makes some similar looking wheels. I think. You should check tirerack.com it would give you fitment too. The price should be better too.

These oem wheels are expensive. Some selling te set for 1500. You can get a set of Enkei for about 1200. Not sre if I remeber right the numbers.

Hope it helps.

Good luck.

well i know the bolt pattern will fit. but im just not sure about the offset.

based on my research here is the info for the OEM G37 19s:

FRONT: 19x8.5 (+ 43 offset) REAR: 19x9.0 (+ 45 offset)

and when i looked for wheels on tirerack, most of the 19x8 or 19x8.5 wheels had a very similar offset. the offsets i found on tirerack were between 40 and 45.

im pretty sure that the wheels will fit... i just dont know how flush they will be with the fender.

i had some other wheels on the car previously and i want to say that they were +50 offset.

thats why im a little concerned.

Well I'm not sure what offsets would look good on your accord, but here are some websites that will give you a good example of what I'm talking about:

http://www.fatlace.com/hellaflush

http://www.speedhunters.com(click the car tab)

Do some research and in no time the women will be drooling over your wheel fitment...

If you don't want to go this route, then that's cool too... just a suggestion...

A couple of suggestions:

1) Staggered wheels on a FWD car will get you ridiculed in some circles. Not sure if this matters to you.

2) Staggered wheels CAN'T be rotated, with a few slight exceptions. As such, you will greatly reduce tire life.

3) Staggered 19" tires are among the most expensive (more than 20s). Combine this with #2 and you can basically add $100/mo for tires over the course of a year.

4) Related to #1, you might want to look into other wheel caps. I'd wait for you outside a store and ***** at you about an Infiniti logo on a Honda.

On the Positive side:

1)The G37 rims are beautiful and would probably compliment your Accord really well.

Total side note:

Why don't you sell the accord and by a G?

yah i know... im used to it. what can i say... i love the look of staggered wheels. HOWEVER, the oem19s dont even look staggered. there no deep dish lips because the face of the wheels are flat.

2) Staggered wheels CAN'T be rotated, with a few slight exceptions. As such, you will greatly reduce tire life.

ive had a lot of experience with staggered wheels... i know the drill. but thanks for the heads up!

3) Staggered 19" tires are among the most expensive (more than 20s). Combine this with #2 and you can basically add $100/mo for tires over the course of a year.

tires arent really an issue. my last car was sponsored and even though im getting too old for the show scene ive made a lot of friends along the way. i still maintain my relationships with a few of the major tire manufacturers and they always help me out even though im not showing my cars anymore.

4) Related to #1, you might want to look into other wheel caps. I'd wait for you outside a store and ***** at you about an Infiniti logo on a Honda.

i was just going to put blank caps on the wheels. i would definitely remove the infiniti logo.

On the Positive side:

1)The G37 rims are beautiful and would probably compliment your Accord really well.

they certainly are beautiful. thats why i wanted to try them on the accord.

Total side note:

i would have LOVED to do that. but a few years ago i chose to go back to school so now im in loads and loads of debt. im probably a lot older than most of you guys on the forums and i had to choose practicality over fancy cars. i have some other priorities in my life right now so i chose to save a bit of money and get a honda instead of an infiniti. and the fact is even though coupes are so much more fun, sedans really are a lot more practical. growing up just sucks!

i did test drive both the sedan and the coupe. and these cars ARE FAST! but i just couldnt justify the cost.

getting either of the Gs would have been living outside of my means and i just didnt feel comfortable doing that. im a pretty conservative guy.

which helps to explain the wheels too. i wanted something a little nicer than the oem accord wheels (because those things look NASTY!) but i wanted to keep that oem look. i could very easily get aftermarket 19s or 20s and i might even save a few bucks... but i just love how the OEM g37s look classy AND sporty, not too over the top.

It might be going way over the top, but you might consider finding someone else who wants the G37 rims as well and parting 2 pairs out. 2 fronts on one car. 2 rears on the other. That combined with spacer will yield the same look, but be much more practical.

If you're ever willing to share some of your "tire friends" do email me

well i cant even seem to find ONE SET. these rims are pretty rare and i cant seem to locate anyone who would even just meet up with me to do a testfit.

Here's a set in CA:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW

and another with tires...http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW

What 19" rims are others putting on Accords? Find that out and you can see if the offset will work.

thanks so much! i actually contacted them already but neither of them is willing to let me do a testfit before i purchase.

here are the results from my research.

G37 OEM 19in WHEELS:F: 19x8.5 (+ 43 offset) with 225/45/19R: 19x9.0 (+ 45 offset) with 245/40/19

HONDA ACCORD OEM WHEELS17x7.5 (+55 offset)

i tried to get some specifications from some of the other accord guys. this guys setup is

F: 20x8.5 (+38 offset) with 235/30/20R: 20x9.5 (+45 offset) with 275/30/20

http://www.driveaccord.net/for...uper6

im no wheel expert so im not exactly sure what all of those numbers mean...

Those rims cannot be cheap...for my 05, I've been quoted $1250 for a new 19" Forged rim.

You mentioned practicality...I bought my 05 with 5k miles for about $8k less than a new 06. Now, you can get a used G for probably what your new Honda cost or less! If you're going to throw money in rims, why not do a trade? 07 sedans can be had for 20kish. http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/...tance

Just offering a suggestion...you only live once!
