Reading this post makes me jealous. I wish I still lived in LA; I'd definitely be there. Oh well, maybe we could plan a meet on my next trip out to Kalifornia.

I couldn't agree more. We have wildfires in Malibu again, so it's pretty crazy in that area. Eric, do you have another Altima here in LA?

Nope, I wish When I lived there, I drove an Accord haha Nah, it was a pretty good car, but I'm a Nissan man so I never felt right in it.

well it seems that not all of us can make it in ONE PARTICULAR SET DATE. so i'm just wanting to see, how many people can make it dec. 1st? and if its not that many people, can those people who can make it on the 1st make it on the 15th. cuhz of course i want all of us to be able to go and have some fun.

so if people can start listing their names and reply saying yes or no to DEC. 1st i guess for now. and if you cant list another date you can make it, and after a good amount of responses, i'll total up the results and see how many people can make it, and what date we shall have it on.

as for malibu since there are fires goin on, anyone want to try another beach? maybe dockweiler? or any other beaches in mind.

Yes, the beaches here are splendid. Full of toxic waste, junk, debris, ash, and other pleasant surprises!

Chesapeake Bay isn't much better. It will take the Oysters about 5 years to clean that thing out, considering all of the junk/debris that is being dumped into there. No longer is water clear to the point where you can see your feet.

Perhaps Eric can give some insight as to the beaches/oceans in Hawaii.

I don't get what you mean, 80% say the first is cool... and from the last poll, it looked like the 1st was the best day for the most number of people

For the 2 years that I lived there, I never entered that water. Never have, never will. I guess I was spoiled by the ocean here, so the first time I went to Huntington Beach, I was shocked I couldn't believe that ocean water could look so ugly!

I live about 50 minutes away from one of our more famous beaches, Hanauma Bay:

And about 35 minutes away from the most famous beach in the world, Waikiki:

Eric, why did you have to show me those pictures? What kind of a person are you?

Now I'm sitting here, late for school, thinking of those beautiful beaches and how much I'd love a vacation.

Taking a look at the second picture, I want to quit everything and run away to Hawaii to become a beach bum.

I'd make it, but I think I'll be skiing most of this winter, especially on those days listed.

OK, so now that we've officially gotten waaaayyy off topic, have we decided on the 1st?? Do we still have anyone interested in doing this...please let's just respond with all the days that we can make it...

rjdmmfl 12/1, 12/8, 12/15

Shift_2.5S, let's give it a couple of days, if we have a number of people who have responded by Friday evening, and the 1st is still the best overlapping day, then let's go with the 1st.... keep in mind, we can always do it again next spring if you want to start a SOCAL Altima club! Shift, you're either you or adidas please pick a good spot for us to meet, and then we'll take it from there!

I was originally thinking of Kanan Road and Mulholland Drive through the Topanga Mountains to Malibu. It's one of the more fun and scenic roads in SoCal. However, the latest fires in Malibu have thwarted this.
