SOCAL: 2 Track Days

There are two track days coming up for us SoCal people.

The first is October 8th. It's on the Big Track at Willow Springs (Just North of Palmdale). It's $125 for 2.5 hours track time. Comes with lunch and a T Shirt. It is from roughly 7AM-5PM. Also, there will be free Beginner instruction for noobs such as myself.

The second is October 19th. It is Drift Day 8 at Irwindale Speedway. It is for the Novice/Intermediate drivers. It's $100 and includes instruction and a T-Shirt.

I have already registered for both. Make sure your cars are in good condition and bring an extra set of tires for DD8. I am also getting a new windshield just because of DD8

Let me know if anyone wants to go to race or at least to watch.

Count us in, my brother and I, we're drivers 19 and 20.(Which is weird, cause that's our ages as well. Heh)

I wish I could make it to the open track day on the 8th, but don't think I can. I'll definatly be there in December though (there's another one at Willow Springs). Hope to see some 240's there. It'll be my first time outside of autox :-)

Wish I could, but money is going to be tight for the next couple of months, so can't really afford the spare parts needed for DD8, might tag along to watch though

For DD8, how do the spectators watch? Is there a fee to pay or they just come for free? Anyone?

i thought spectators were not allowed.also - bryan did you get a helmet? i noticed Alex Chang is selling a helmet on Freshalloy i believe.

translation from japanese to english is touge=mountain passes

it does neccessarily mean to drift or grip driving, its however you wanna drive it....

just my 2 cents...

no extras for now... no money left over... i'm glad my wife ok'd me for this right now.. buying a new house adn selling this one is very very expensive... i have to pay all kinds out of pocket right now.
