Ugh. I can't even imagine.

All of the electronics have to be compromised, I'm sure...

Surprisingly, no. The lefthand SMJ connector caught a bunch of dribble but the pins were still intact enough to clean and grease. Good thing it wasn't the other side, there's a Bose amp on the floor under the passenger's butt. The mold was a different story, there was a mountain of it growing under the outboard side of the driver's seat. It will definitely need a Lysol boil, that's tomorrow.

We have a '16 Sentra in the back yard that's even worse, it caught a flash flood and water was up to the base of the steering wheel. That one will definitely have issues if they decide to fix it, and even if the BCM isn't trashed, the dashpad will need to come out for a lot of di-grease.

I'd rather repair a wreck all day long than a flood car. Bless you, my friend.

Lol, we're about the only shop in Arkansas that will do it, but you're right, there's a reason. N95's are the least of it.

Unless you've actually lived there, you probably don't appreciate the coolest thing about the desert... rust sleeps. ;)

I sure hope that the water damage repairs are disclosed when the car is resold,

Our dealership reports to CarFax, so I'm sure it will be. I wish CarFax would also tell people the repair was done at the best flood shop in the state, and it really is good as new.
