i`m looking at a `69 510, 2 door. I happen to know where to get a complete vh45de motor, with harness, ecu, afm etc. I did some looking today at the 510 and took some measurements, so i`ll have to compair them to the motor set tomorrow. might work, but will take some custom ****, like a remote brake system and doing something wiht the steering, unless i was to boost it and make custom manifolds.

We'll have your back the whole way... That would be SICK!!!

A no-emissions VH with headers and free-flowing exh should be able to lay down 320 at the crank... in a car as small / light as a 510, that's a recipe for pure wickedness.

well, i know a guy with an SR20 in his 510, and it had fair amount of space left... comparable to the space in an S13 bay with an SR20 in it, may be just slightly smaller engine bay. But i figure since you managed to fit the VH into an S13 with at least an inch on either side of the cylinder banks and the strut towers, you should be able to fit the VH into the 510 too, might have to do some tricky intake plumbing though.

ok, so the 510 engine compartment is 30" front to back, vh45 is 26" or 28" front to back. don`t leave alot of room for the radiator. side to side will be really close too. i guess i`ll just have to drop it in and see where it sits

seriously...? see above^^^^ i think those things are bad ***. and the wagons are the pimp!

they have suspension similar to 280zx/z31/s12 an can be upgraded using parts from those cars. Plus they are light as hell and look badass with a set of rewinds on there

get a custom radiator made to fit where an fmic would otherwise, and shoehorn it in there.

Badass dude, that's gonna look mean !@

Here's another car I reckon would be worthy of a VH engine transplant:

not saying the lines of the laurel aren't sweet, but i would really want to chop top that and give it a much sleeker appearance.

damn... i'm going to have to find myself a laurel someday, seeing one looking so mean and aggressive makes me want one bad

if you cut the roof off the tin can laurel you wouldn't defintely have to add some kind of cage to keep the car from collapsing when you give fat chicks joy rides.

but it would look hot defintely.

I knew some girls named laurel, they have all been hot so far. its a good name.

KHC130, it's a 1972

They're damn rare, I had a difficult time even finding those three pics I think they came out with the L series engine in em.
