Ok you just got your JDM RB20,25,26 And its sitting on the floor next to your S13,14, Take this time to do the following

*1. Replace every line that water runs through! Hard lines and rubber lines.2. Replace the lines that run to the turbo, Oil and water.3. That cover over the coil packs, Cut it off near the back and rase the ignitor chip about two inches.more to come

* Their are nice little water lines under the intake that like to leak, some times you have to remove the whole manifold to replace them. I am playing the d*** dance game with one at the shop now. NOT FUN.:angryfire

No absolutely not. You should never replace the lines at all, just wait for the old ones to burst and replace the motor... lots more fun that way.

Hey guys.... yes, steel braided lines are fine. Just watch out running them next to the turbo or exhaust due to heat.

RPS13... Take a look at http://www.summitracing.com to figure out how much all the braided hose will be.

YamaOni -- good advice. Also not a bad time to replace the water pump and timing belt. Much, much, easier when the engine is out! :D

Only guess at "cut rear cover" is a heat issue. Lower heat... longer life for electronics.

the coils cook under the cover, I always remove it. Raising the igniter off the engine also keeps that from baking. Every RB I get gets these two mods immediately. I had to do some of those %#@*& *%&$ hoses on Thumper, it suck donkey schiong:mad:

Replace everything! Front seal, cam seals, rear seal, take off the oil pan and remove the sludge and clean up the pick up. The cam covers like too leak also!

Why even buy an RB if you have to spend the money to replace EVERYTHING on it :( Geez could get an awesome KADET at that rate :(
