Since converted to 5-speed, I have yet to buy a shift boot. I've been wanting to make my own. Plus the company my mom works for deals in high end fabrics and leathers I could get my hands on some quality pieces. But I don't have a original to trace and make the 2 outlines. So I was wondering if someone here could just scan the piece or outline they used to make theirs. So I could just print it out and start from there. I'm sure it would benefit more people then just me. Prease halp?!?! :)

I cut down one side and roughly traced the whole thing as one piece, trace a little bigger and trim as you go that way you have enough.

just a bit of info that you most likely know, its best to turn it inside out then sew it and flip it out again for a nice seam.

Don't think I'll have enough material to do it one piece since I'll be working with material samples.

So instead of using 2 piece I plan to use 4. So both sides would have half of one color and half the other one.

Probably gonna go with black and grey leather. These are samples from like 20k sofas. LOL

thanx my leanred'd brotha!

Make sure you make it a little big. When I made mine, I used the exact specs and it was way too tight, I had to stretch it to work.

It'll look better a little loose as well.
