If it coincides with finals again, I won't make it.

But I'm crossing my fingers and hoping beyond hope that it doesn't.

Pshhh, already settled when I smacked down every KA-T, V8 and whatever else powered 240 that showed up last time with my stock NA sr20, open diff and all season tires. Do they have an auto cross class for cars that have never had an alignment? how 'bout someone shows up with a set of real tires for me to use and Ill show you what the SR is all about. That or if someone wants to donate me about $4000 so I can put my turbo-SR autocross coupe back together. :shifter:

^ I don't know what race you're talking about, but the fastest car was the Corvette, followed by Flohting's corolla.

Sorry for making that confusing,
I didnt say I beat the vette or floating point or even the rx8 (all which had racing/autocross tires on), just all the 240's (there were turbo KA's, a LS1 V8 powered s13, etc). The race vette got 54 seconds over two laps, floating point got 56 i believe, the rx8 with r-compounds got 57, and I clocked in at 59 seconds, which was the fastest nissan time of the weekend. Put me in some R-compounds like the other guys instead of crappy sumitomo all season tires, I could easily shave off 1-1.5 seconds off that time and be right with them.

The Vette and James in the RX8 had Hoosiers on, but I didn't have racing/autocross tires on. I didn't bring my r-compounds (no room) with me and just drove on street tires.

I thought you had falkens or something similar on, my bad. Damn I sound like an a**

I still think I'd give you a run for the money, you in a turbo KA-T me in my na SR20 with some R-compounds :dblthumb:

Falkens are really bad tires. No, I was on some Bridgestone RE11's, you can see the tread pattern of them on the pics of my car from that weekend. I left my proper tires (Kumho V710's and Hoosiers) at home.

I wouldn't want to pilot a KA-T. Just a normal run of the mill KA on a car that can accept 2.5 inch diameter springs (as I'd bring my own rates) and still has normal sized brakes and 4 lugs.

Anyway, if Pezi comes, I'd probably just rent a trailer and bring the Corolla up in full trim. If he doesn't, I'm fiddling with the idea of just bringing my F125.

B0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o! Trailer it, think of it as pre-Nationals where the only classes around are SM, ST and perhaps XP for a few of the other 240sx's.

I'm so in.

And for Carlisle again of course, for the 4th consecutive year.

I'm told its basically all you can drink while you're there, and then they send you on your way with a free 6 pack.

It kinda sounds too good to be true... like the lamp posts are made out of candy canes and gum drops, beer everywhere, throw in a couple of midgets... basically like Happy Gilmore's "Happy Place".
