So who has a spare KA24DE block/girdle/crank that I could pick up?

As many of you know, I blew up a freshly built engine that cost me $3700+ right before the summer ended, less than 1000 miles on it.

Chandler offered me his block/crank/girdle but hasn't gotten back to me in well over a week, and I kind of want to get the ball rolling on this so I can at least have the block back home so I can start rebuilding it when i go back for breaks...

Anyway, thats all I need...the block/crank/girdle...nothing else.

Needs to be in good condition obviously, no holes in the block lol!

I'm in chapel Hill, NC right now, but my dad's been really helpful about this and is willing to actually fly down somewhere to pick up an engine and drive it back to my home in CT.

If that's not feasible, I could pay someone to ship the block, cover all the shipping expenses and pay an extra $50 for the trouble...I just want to get the ball rolling.

I posted this in the KA-T section because I know you guys are a lot more helpful about this stuff...

So basically, does anyone have a block/crank/girdle they're willing to let go for cheap (or even free)??

i may have one block that has everything, but am not sure if that 1 has a bad bearing(it had the knocking cause of bad oil pump, but when i cranked the pistons by hand it looked fine, tho i guess it needs to be hot to actually knock, could have been the head though), it may have or have not spun a bearing, but it doesn't have any holes around it though, 1 thing is that i would not like to ship it because of the hassle.

i could take some pics of it if you want.
