No clue.

Although I'm gonna wait until we get a litttle more of the "change" cleaned up before I remind him to pop in.

Ted (RaceOnUSA) is just a reseller. He sells GTP stuff, VIS, and some other stuff. They don't manufacture anything.

im confused then why would they name a CF hood after their company? Isn't that stealing?

RACEON CARBON FIBER AERO PARTS Professional motorsports quality bodywork constructed from wet carbon construction offers high quality fit and finish. Components are manufactured with a focus on maintaining consistent weave pattern while optimizing weight. This highly technical and labor intensive process requires a significant increase in manufacturing effort before, during, and after production. CF Parts post manufacturing are screened, prepped, refinished, and polished.

Heh, I don't know, I didn't read that before. I'm pretty sure he doesn't have anything manufactured specifically for Raceon though, the business is run out of his kitchen last I heard, everything is dropshipped. Although that sounds kinda bad, it's not meant to discourage anyone from buying from him. He does a very good job of getting parts to people fast and for very reasonable prices. He's knows alot about body kits and last I know, drives an S13

well he has an animation on his website on how he makes it. I just want someone to buy from him and see if 240 items fit from him or not. If so he is going to get some fatty pay from me.

I'll be the guinea pig if I have to...

Just gotta "recover" from this move, and the hack, and whatnot.

It may not be stealing if GTP/VIS know about it. Otherwise, i heard GTP has some really crappy fitting kits.

Greg--hey! get the OE CF hood for your vert! tell me if it fits, because i want one bad.

I have seen the OE CF hood from Raceon, it is sweet (and fits well).

I'd buy one, but I don't like the idea of hood pins.

Plus there's other things my 'vert needs first.

No hood pins? Why? Because they're ricey?

Just paint 'em black then, i would. I knew some kid who has a s13 fastback with some ugly vader fiberglass hood, he never put hood pins on it --he just used the existing oe hood lock. One day on the highway it flew up partially (lucky for him it was only partial) his friend held the side of the hood down with his arm out the window and they taped it down till he ordered some hood pins.

yep there is a reason why the hood is so heavy. Hood pins are a good thing with cf hoods

I really like the vented one, but understand it's not a great idea when it rains.

Although my 'vert will probably never see rain again... Hmmmm. Might ask for that for Christmas.

Hey I am hardly here on the weekends. I gotta make up for it some how. I am bored and at work. Not to mention I really would like that trunk lid.
