Factory rating was 278hp, but was notoriously UNDER-rated ddue to a "gentlemens' agreement" among Japanese automakers to stay under 280hp...

Most are closer to 300, and removal of a lot of the unnecessary accessories should bump it up even further.

Either way, it's gonna be bad as hell!

'Bout time someone did it.Just please tell me it's mated to like a Z32 box and you'll be selling mounts for a reasonable price.

I bet the power deliver with that engine in that chassis will be buttery smooth.

And it actually looks like you've got some room to work in the engine bay too. That's pretty awesome. We need videos of it running...well, when it does run that is.

Got some pics of the room between the frame rail, and the front, and where the turbos will sit, worked on the manifolds today. Apdapter plate for the Z32 5spd should be finished this weekend along with the turbo manifolds. We're gonna modify the frame rail so we can run our 3 nch downpipes, and install our fuel cell so we can run our dual exhaust next week.

ha i like how he set the turbo there for the pic.

there doesnt look to be room to run the necessary plumbing.

Hahah yeah there is no way. Unless he built an insane manifold that came though the sheet metal in front of the strut tower, and then routed the exhaust out the front. A turbo v8 240 would be a beast though.

EDIT:Well I just read his post, and it seems that he may actually be serious. Dayum

Basically it's going to be a tight fit for anything in the bay, we are going to use a simple but effective manifold setup on it which will position the turbos right behind the headlights for the intake setup, nothing is going to be bolt on with this project, it will alll be custom.

You are my hero. You need to keep us updated on this. How long do you think the project is going to take? Power goals?

We are building twin cars to this spec, we were planning on finishing them by end of March in the NA form but we're going twin turbo now so it will be a little longer, gonna push to have it done by March still though.
