Ok, so i got this 240sx for like 500 bucks.. but dont get me wrong its not a POS i bought it from someone that had no idear what its worth was.. and he was old so $500 to him was prolly alot of money.. so what do i do now? i got about $600.00 more to spend on stuff for the engy.. what do you guys think? should i start saving for a new motor? or intake and stuff like that? what do you guys think i should do?

Btw anyone with underdrive pullies... Let me know how you like them... and if you really need a Chip to go with the pullies? or are you good without them?

First, spend a lot of time on maintanance. change all fluids(oil, coolant, brake, etc) Do new filters (fuel, air, oil) Do new brake pads and rotors. Also plugs and wires and distributor if needed. Make sure your car is completely in perfect shape. Then start modding. I think a limited slip is fun, think about that as a first mod. Power isn't always most important

only the S13's that have HICAS (4 wheel steering) have LSD's, or if you have a canadian 240. all other 240's are open diffs.

make sure all the fluids are good. change the oil to be on the safe side. check the brakes to make sure they have enough pad left on them. the coolant is probably fine, and you don't need to worry about the brake fluid. rotors should be fine unless they look thin or warped.

now, depending on what you wnat out of the car, you can mod according to that. i would suggest getting a set of snow tires for it for the winter. you live in NH, and you sure as heck don't want to wreck the car when the first snow hits

NOpe cold air is good for your engine (as long as there's an air filter, man!). But seriously spend it on maintenance, then get your differential, then get an exhaust, then the intake. Its just the proper way of things...
