I've only tried a couple different kinds.
I was not impressed with Turtle wax "ICE"
But, Mothers carnauba wax is very impressive. Couple this with a clay bar before, and the finish is smooth as glass, its quite nice. Takes a bit of work, but so far, it hasnt left a white residue on the black plastic...which is nice, because that residue is a you know what to remove. But, I have found using armor all tire shine extreme cleans exterior black plastic and gives it a DEEP luster.
I personally have been using armor all for the inside for years and love the deep shine it gives, but it leaves streaks on the radio and climate control area plastic. The only other downfall to armor all is lint sticks to it, but to me, its worth it for the shine and protection.
BTW, the armorall brand dash duster works great and cleans lint and dust like a champ...I love it and keep it in the glovebox to clean up quickly when im waiting in line and such.
Lastly, that crap youve seen on TV for cleaning the windshield, the black wand with the pivoting head and green microfiber bonnets...yea...I recommend it, cleans fog quick and NO STREAKS...great product for 10 bucks, and if your a cheap a**, the Dollar Tree stores here have that same product, well, a knockoff...for a dollar. Cant beat that.
So, anyone else? What do you use and why? How much effort is it?
Thanks!
