I've only tried a couple different kinds.

I was not impressed with Turtle wax "ICE"

But, Mothers carnauba wax is very impressive. Couple this with a clay bar before, and the finish is smooth as glass, its quite nice. Takes a bit of work, but so far, it hasnt left a white residue on the black plastic...which is nice, because that residue is a you know what to remove. But, I have found using armor all tire shine extreme cleans exterior black plastic and gives it a DEEP luster.

I personally have been using armor all for the inside for years and love the deep shine it gives, but it leaves streaks on the radio and climate control area plastic. The only other downfall to armor all is lint sticks to it, but to me, its worth it for the shine and protection.

BTW, the armorall brand dash duster works great and cleans lint and dust like a champ...I love it and keep it in the glovebox to clean up quickly when im waiting in line and such.

Lastly, that crap youve seen on TV for cleaning the windshield, the black wand with the pivoting head and green microfiber bonnets...yea...I recommend it, cleans fog quick and NO STREAKS...great product for 10 bucks, and if your a cheap a**, the Dollar Tree stores here have that same product, well, a knockoff...for a dollar. Cant beat that.

So, anyone else? What do you use and why? How much effort is it?

Thanks!

Regards,Jack

The exterior I've only waxed once and I can't remember what I used.

For the interior I found a product I love, it's Turtle Wax Interior Care. It's the first product that does not make the interior look greasy and brings it back to its new shine/look. I use it in all of our vehicles. I love it. And it smells nice too, so the interior smells new again when you drive it

I've heard too many horror stories about Armor All so I stay away from it.For my interior I use Meguiar's Natural Shine Protectant. This stuff works good leaves just a slight shine, smells nice, and doesn't feel greasy or attract dust. For Wash I use Meguiars gold class car washFor wax I use Meguiars gold class liquid wax.

i used Meguiars gold class liquid wax, (just like the person above me) baught it at canadian tire, not cheap though lol and interior i haven`t had time to do it yet but i tend to microfiber cloth to take the dust away so it keeps it clean but most likely in the summer Meguiars interior product, i dunt know which ones are available but if you are looking so spend a few extra bucks i would say go with the Meguiars, as when i applied the wax on the ride, i gotta say i loved it. i wanted to run beside the car at night to see its shine haha

if i have the time, i'll go 3 or 4 stages-i'll use either Mother's or Meguire's Clay Bar with the (usually included) detailing spray as a lubricant.followed by Meguire's Gold Class liquid wax.next is Meguire's NXT Polish.topped with Mequire's NXT Booster Polish spray.

if i don't have time, i'll do 2 stages-either the Meguire's Gold Class liquid wax -or-the Meguire's NXT Polishtopped with the NXT Booster Polish spray.

if i only have time to wash the V-after drying, i'll do a quick once over with the NXT spray.

i use the Meguire's back to black on the wiper cowl and their one step tire spray.

i always use microfiber towels (tags cut off, to decrease chance of scratches), separate ones for washing, drying, and each polish/wax i apply.

i don't dress my interior, merely water with a microfiber cloth, or occasionally a little mild neutral cleaner. haven't had to clean the carpet or mats other than vacuuming.
