So what is the difference between the S14 auto & MT speed sensors?

Does anybody actually know any factual differences ? From personal exp. or technical write ups ? I have heard all kinds of hearsay in what none sounds credible. So I `m not posting this thread without searching first it`s just some say the s14 auto ss will work in the sr transmission and some say not ? I dont want to make a 130 dollar mistake is all im saying any help would be great and if you dont know from personal trials tell me how you came to this conclusion ?

ive never heard that auto and manual are ever interchangeable.

oddly enough i have both s13 sensors side by side. they have the same teeth count and wire colors/connectors. only difference i see is the manual gear is orange and the auto is purple (maybe because auto is gay).

if you search ( s14 speed sensor ) you will pop up some threads that people have used them and they worked i ordered a mt ss pinion gear in hopes that they were different and just got it today i just cant see nissan ( one of the most interchangable parts people ) having two different ss bodys and two different ss pinions

So is there a reason why ? I heard the auto wont even fit in the transmission? but i will find out tonight so wish me some kind of luck? or tell me where to find a cheap s14 mt ss lol

Ha well to prove any wrong that say the auto wont work cuz it does i have a working speedo just had to make a slight adjustment....lol
