ok so i did a redtop swap a few months ago and i was wondering what i should take out thats just extra stuff. im thinking of taking out my carbon canister to free up some vaccum lines. is there any problems associated with rmoving the carbon canister? ive heard of the gas tank building up too much pressure. is that a direct relation?

and also i want to take out my stock boost sensor, you know the one below the ignitor chip. it just helps me to free up some room and get rid of unwanted wires. i dont think this causes a problem either right?

any help is appreciated. im hoping that with removing some of the vaccum lines i can have less to worry about.

You dont even need that canister. Im surprised it wasnt removed during the swap.

Also those vaccum lines for that canister arnt very good lines to use for pressure signals.

i thought the two lines on top of the the throttle body were both boost lines? i know the one on the bottom does nothing, i already gave that a quick shot haha.

take out all the emmissions crap. carbon canister. take out the a/c and associated lines. also you can take out the blackbox that connects the clutch line to the slave cylinder - its worthless as well.

as well as wires though, you'll still have all of them becasue unless you just cut them out of the harness.....which i wouldn't recommend.
