well, to wrap a beatiful night here in the bread basket of america. I got my first kill in my completly stock 240. I raced a guy with the same year 240 as mine, but with exhaust. I simply out drove him. Great race though. Espcially considering the fact that the tires are completly worn down. I fear I may be seeing metal soon..ouch. Okay, putting my ego and my bsing aside, how was everyone else's night? or day, considering when you actually read this post?

Chris.

The other night on my way to a movie I raced a v8 mustang. He wanted to race from a roll but I saw there was red light so I slowed down and I think he thought he spanked me. Well at the next light we took off and I started to pull on him after I chirped second but then his lane ended and he had to get behind me. Ha ha, he thought he would just race me and jump in front of me. My friend in the passanger seat thought it was funny that I have been driving around with one HID in, he thinks it confuses other drivers because the mustang driver looked a little confused at points. Then on the way back from the movie I had a three way race from a light between a del sol and a crx si who was flat black and had fiberglassed over his glass roof. I spanked both of them hard but hit the brakes at ~95 for a red light and maxed my brakes out. They both ran the light but I stopped when a lady pulled up next to my car in a minivan and gave me the little "no no" finger way then pulled away. I was thinking of front mount and all that as my next mods but after that I am thinking z32 brakes. Apparently even with all new pads and two new rotors they cant handle a panic 100mph stop.

so you only have 2.5" exhaust? interesting...

I know that when I put my silencer in my Blitz pipe, I get way down on power...

Damn Eric. That was a close one. Acutally, I have completly stock exhaust. The guy I ran with had a n1 style muffler, and waay better condition tires. I think he missed third though. Either way, It was fun. I had a blast.

He was talking about vwluv's story. You won't see much of a power loss with a 2.5" over a 3", even on turbo cars. Although Supras do see a lot from that half inch. But for cars like yours or mine it shouldn't matter much at all.

I had a pretty good drift session tonite. getting the figure 8's down, though lack of decent hp makes the cones a bit farther apart, I have to be in 2nd. anyways, progressed to some decent 90 degree turns, and almost pulled off a long sweeping one but again not enough hp for the room I had. I was in a stadium parking lot, has a nice elevation change though...
