It is really hard to understand what you just typed above because there are so many run-on sentences it makes my head hurt a little punctuation would be better so you dont have to real the same paragraph over five times i wish i find a deal like that i mean you dont know when a sentence ends or when it starts what are you gonna do with the motor are you gonna swap it into your existing car good job finding the little treasure in your SR lol @ twin fingered can you understand what i wrote without reading it over?

Good find. I'm currently running with a supersingle Os Giken. It holds great, but because I daily drive my car, it's not always fun. Is this going into your daily driver?

what throw-out bearing can i use ? I`m not sure if i need a special one . It is tiny and i ordered one a while back from koyo . And its huge does anyone know where i can get a HD throw-out ? A guy on the Rx-7 forums said the ORC`s are nicknamed the rattlers cause they kill throw-out bearings ? i just dont want to mess this pressure plate up?

Damn is that thing loud or what Can't imagine how much chatter I'm gonna have to put up with after I install a 2 wayLucky dawg

That's pretty rad that you got a nice ORC twin plate.

That is a pretty heavy duty clutch! Be careful. Big twin plates like that have been known to break transmissions fairly often. Was the motor pretty much stock besides the clutch?

I don't know about you guys but I'd rather buy an engine that is stock as when it left the factory. Buying a motor that really only has 30K on it and has not been pushed to the limits has a better chance not being abused.

Having a motor that came with such a heavy duty clutch leads me to think that motor was probably pushed hard. Even if everything else is stock there like the manifold and turbo ect ect that doesn't mean they couldn't have just slap on some stock components and sell you a stock looking motor. Trying to make you think you really got a 30k mile motor like they all BS on.

Anyways it's still a good find if the motor runs like a champ. I driven those clutch before and the Exedy twin disk and those are a lot more harsh than the Exedy.

I think it depends on what you are buying the engine for.

But i get what you are saying Number80

I honestly don't even FULLY know how a clutch works yet.

Good stuff though.

Our engines that we got from osaka were some of the best engines i`ve ever seen imported . my friend thinks he has somthin done internal wise cuz he put down 270whp @ 9 psi and it runs like nuts with the T-25 . Mine came with a T-28 and pulled the v/c and it was clean no build up or sludge to speak of . However my friend who has bought several engines now (20-30) from them got boned on the only one he bought for himself .....Bent valves And they said cuz 30 days were up no warranty
