I like how the government blaims the fast food and junk food corporations that its their fault for today's obesity. IMO, its the people themselves. I don't get why some people sue fastfood places b/c they ate their food and got fat. Hmm...if a person eats there 24/7 and no diet or excercise then yeah you will get fat.

I heard on some CNN or something that they were going to try to "enforce" Calorie diets into the fastfood and junk food market. The most people have gotten lazy to where they don't want to have a nice home cook meal. :( I've read about this in the paper as well and its funny how its everyone elses fault but their own.

Okay I'm done with my input. :D

Seriously, I got in a big argument with my best friends uncle one time because he is part of a group trying to sue fast food restaraunts for making us fat. STOP EATING THERE! It's not there fault, they just make the food, they don't force it down your throught. That's called free commerce. He tried to tell me that people didn't have a choice but to eat there as a result of their advertising, and because it was all people could do if they were in a hurry. You're not in a hurry EVERY meal, and if you are, then it's time to re-evaluate other parts of your life, not blame fast food for being obese. My 2 cents....

Americans have become lazy. This country somehow transitioned from a group of settlers that werent satisfied with their living conditions.. so they did something about it... TO a group of lazy apathetic humans that want everything done for them and simply do not understand what 'rights' are.

Well.. you could say they still aren't happy with their living conditions, so they're doing something about it. Even though in this situation, it's absolutely ridiculous..

Indeed. People refuse to take responsibility for themselves, and refuse to accept the fact that some things may be their fault. Above all, people are getting greedy.

Again, I'll cite a case. Didja hear about the one where the mother was suing her city government because her child ran into a bar at the playground? She was suing for the childs lost wages (he was a 2 year old magazine model) because the pole was painted green and blended into the landscape.

Who does that?
