Yeah dude, that's been a huge topic for months now. DHS over the past 2 years has built up enough ammo to sustain daily firefights similar to those in the peak of the Iraq and Afghanistan war for 20+ years. Not to mention buying up thousands of APC's returning from service from Afghanistan and delivering them to LLE agencies? What do city cops need war vehicles with mount .50's on the roof for?

It's bad enough to the point that ammo manufacturers won't ship primers to civilian retail establishments. All the primers that would be for reloading are now repurposed for ammo production.

It's scary, but the country is prepping for war. And considering 2/3 of the rounds that were bought are not authorized for use by the geneva conventions in foreign wars, where do you think that war is going to be held?

The 15 million rounds used in one year for training purposes looks like a drop in the bucket compared to 1.6 billion. The armored personnel vehicles being seen on public streets and town/ city barricading training make me uneasy.

i was quick enough to buy 700+ hundreds of rounds the day the sandy school shooting happened. i knew what was coming, and placed an order that day. i then 2 weeks ago caught (somehow) on ammotogo.com 9mm available- and bought the limit (2 boxes of 50) for only $19.99/box + 12 shipping.

There is a reason I'm buying 30+ acres in BFE. So I can drop off the grid when ever I please.
