So, the site got hacked?

Couldn't get on the site yesterday.  All I got was a "Hacked by whomever" page.  What happened?

I wish you would have saved a screen shot of that. Don't people have better things to do with their time than that? We're back up and that is that. Since we're a public board there's not much we can do about that. The latest for hackers is to purchase a url close to the real one and if a member of the real board accidently goes to the wrong one and logs in that's all it takes for them to have a way to get to the real one and do their damage.

Well, I'm glad to see the site back up and I hope my sign in attempt on that day didn't help to contribute to the problem.

I just found out the site was back up and running!

not sure about the hacking thing but I see they (wowbb) got their servers back working....
it seems that our site was down the longest of any!

What we have is a corrupt PHP file that keeps going south on us. I don't know if it is permanently fixed but at least we're up. I am exploring alternatives to come up with a permanent solution. For those of you who have my email address ([email protected]) please email me if anything goes "screwy" on you. Ken
