So i was leaving work the other day, and my car was running GREAT (and has been for the last.. year?)

i came to a stop, and WHAM, my car just f*** died, no engine, no power, no lights, no stereo, no auto seat belt, no NOTHING. the ignition did nothing.. so i figured my battery just up and vanished into thin air

stunned, i stepped out of my car to see wtf happened, opened the engine bay, and nothing is burned, nothing is changed, it all looks perfectly fine.. i look in the fuse box, all the fuses are in great condition (i guess? they werent popped). i pulled the 75a alt fuse, and clipped it back in, and all of the sudden my seatbelts started working again.

jumped in the car, and it cranked right up, and has been driving perfect ever since.

so for future referrence, if this happens to anyone..

Your car is driving great, and it just dies like its heart was ripped out dies, go to the engine bay, pop out your alt fuse, and see what happens.

strangely enough, it happened to my friends car today, his car would start like s***, and idle horribly, then it shut off, and had no sort of reaction to any controls / electronics.

pulled the fuse and it worked perfectly.

Lol, awesome reply.

i DID just install some electric fan's (with relays), and tapped into my stock A/C condenser fan relay for a/c activation, so im guessing when i did that, i may have loosened up a few connections, i pushed in on every fuse/relay, and another one was (semi) loose, it was able to reclick. so hopefully i wont encounter this problem again!
