So somebody tried to break into my J30, Now I have dents in the trunk..HELP!

Somebody tried to break into my car the other night, and I wake up to find some scratches and dents in my trunk. I pulled off the cover to see if I could possuibly just hammer the dents out, but they are in the very bottom section of the trunk if you look at it when it's closed. Theres like a lip there that wont allow me to hammer the dents out. any suggestions??

You'll be far ahead to just grab another from a junkyard, even if it needs to be painted to match.

my car got broken into twice over the past year, once it was the passanger side window, which cost about a 100$ from a scrap yard, and the second time the thiefs got more advanced, they made a hole in the passanger side to access the hinge that closes the door, i havent fixed yet, but the only thing i did was cover it, it is still badly dented, so i'm gonna get a passanger door from a scrap yard again......... if it is any body section that is damaged, i suggest getting a used one so it will match the allignment of the hood, door, trunk...etc....... good luck man
