I don't mean to go on a rant, but Colorado has, by far, the worst damn drivers in the world.

Get this, on my way back from one of my work sites, I have some car zip accross the street in front of me without looking. I almost broad sided him.

Later on, another car sped up and tried to ram me as I was attempting to merge onto the freeway. As if one car getting in front of you is going to hold you back. I mean, how selfish can you be?

Then, when I was almost home, I got stuck behind another car doing about 10 miles an hour under the speed limit. When I honked and sped past him, he looked at me and threw his hands up in the air as if I did something wrong.

Then, when I got to the next light and had got in the "turn left" lane, another car abruptly jumped right in front of me. I almost rear ended him.

After all this, I finally made it home without any more incidents. However, this morning, I walked outside, cup of coffee in hand, only to notice some idiot had hit the back corner of my Q without leaving a note.

Tell me that Colorado doesn't have the worst, most selfish, idiotic, child-like, unattentive drivers in the world.

They seriously need to start cracking down on driving tests because this is just getting out of hand. It's pure chaos.

WOW! First, welcome to nico! Looks like he hit you high. Maybe a truck?Did you file a police report, because he may have hit others close by (DUI?)? Seems like a lot of guys are getting their Q's hit this month! I think I'llkeep mine inside till it's safe! You are right about other driver's. Here in Pa it's all about road rage.I have a friend who is a DOT lawyer, he revokes license's for a living.Tell me that wouldn't be fun!

No reason to honk. Sounds like everyone is an ***... Just givin' you a hard time. But yeah, cities seem to be that way. Just seems to come with the isolationist mentality that comes with urban areas that keeps everyone strangers and ruthless.

superuber, If I had a Q as nice as yours I don't think I'd ever take it out of the garage either. Hopefully, I'll be getting a house with a garage soon so I won't have to deal with this appartment parking lot crap.

I was also thinking possibly a truck, suv or a van. And definately one that is white since you can see the paint that rubbed off. I did not file a police report, may do so tomorrow. However, I did walk around my parking lot to see if I could find the vehicle that hit me.

Do you think I was hit from behind or do you think the person scraped me from the side towards the rear? Also, I was parked on a corner parking spot. Do you think somebody could have possibly turned too sharply and scraped the side of their car against mine?

Scotttjackson, you're right. City people are basically f%^&ked.

Yeah, I think it's pretty clear someone turned too sharply and the clearance wasn't adequite. That's why I never park next to turn like that if I can possibly avoid it. I think horns shouldn't even be put in cars. Here in Southern Iowa, to get honked at out of frustration, you need to be completely blocking the road to the point that no one can get by. Not only that, but you have to be standing there literally with your thumb up your a$$ with a complete unconcerned look on your face. THEN, someone might get upset and honk.

My car got keyed last week and to me it feels like the damge your car sustained. I take all the precautions and sometimes you still you can't avoid fate I guess. Last year my Mercedes was driven over by a truck. The hood and grill got crushed. The driver backed up without looking or something. I spent the whole afternoon investigating it and was able to find the truck and place the driver at the scene of teh incident. I got the car repaired at his employer's expense, but no apology.

Keep a look out for paint on pickups and vans in your area.
