Unfortunately I have to sell my baby :( to get a 4 door luxery car. Check out the specs. View my website for more details....

http://www.NizmoStyle.com

I'm trying to determine a reasonable price on this so I can post it on the local classifieds. I'm thinking I can get $6,000. Any thoughts or takers?

FYI: The car still runs great, there have been no major issues with this car except a transmission replacement which occurred around 80k miles. The pictures you see on my website are 4 yrs old. So there has been minor wear and tear. There is a small dent on my driver side because someone bumped me. There is chipped paint on my front spoiler due to rocks.

Your car looks very nice, but to ask $6000 for a 13 year old economy car with 160k miles is a lot. You might be able to get somebody to pay that much, but your car is not worth that much. Don't get me wrong, it could be worth that much to you and it looks like its in great shape, but we have to be realistic and the blue book is not even half what you're asking.

yeah, agreed.

the crappy part about making cars look nice, you can never profit.

it's just ready to have the engine torn into now though, body interior and suspension look to be good:)

Thanks guys, The blue book is around $2.5k(without considering any upgrades and performance parts)I'm just trying to get a determine a reasonable price so I can sell it without going through the hassel of having to show a ton of people. Cause my time is money as well. I'm figuring anyone who purchases this car will most likely drop an sr20det motor in here anyways...but those are just my thoughts.

IMO, I think $4k would be a suitable price. Don't get me wrong however, it is a very nice looking car! Sad to hear you have to sell it though...

I got offered $6k for my car this April.....the kid had cash in hand and a trailer to take it away. I just couldn't sell her. Thats with stock motor and 168k on the clock. I'm wondering if I should have to start over. :rolleyes

Edit: I had it advertised for $5500 and I was hesitating, so he goes I'll give you $6k cash right now. That was a first of being offered MORE than I was asking for it.

Hey Rousie, what upgrades did you have on your car? Was it comparable to mine?

I live in the Northern California area. I think I might start the bidding at $4K and see if anyone is willing to offer more. My paint job was done a local shop, I know the owner so they gave me a great deal. It costed a little under $2k to have my car painted, have custom molding done, and install my body kit. They did a great job. I recommend them, however, their normal price is extremely expensive. I would say easily $4k for their primium paint job. Which isn't really unheard of now a days. Thanks for the support guys!
