My xbox RROD last night, although I did manage to play the forza 3 demo. Instead of buying another xbox, I think I'm going to get a PS3. Hope to see you guys drifting/racing online in the future.

Just got my 360 back from MS. Very quick turn-around. Repair was done the day they got it, and out for shipping the next day. Too bad UPS f'd up and sent it to the wrong place, at the wrong time.

Cuz it sounds like you are talking about racing/drifting in FM3, which isnt on PS3, and never will be. Yet you talk about buying a PS3 almost as if you have given up on the Xbox.

my spare box is an RRoD Survivor(It got RRoD owner didnt know MS fixed for free so he gave it to me, i turned it on and it worked perfectly)

I just need one more Xbox and 3 copies of Forza3 and ill be set.

For every screen you have you need another Xbox and another copy of forza.



If i can find more 360s and more screens ill try doing an even greater setup. five screens.

Why the crap did they leave ten feet of blank space between each monitor? Snug them up so the image is continuous!

Definitely a cool feature, but requiring 3 xboxes AND 3 copies of the game is pretty friggin' stupid. Of course, with the 360's miniscule shared memory and single video output, I guess there's not much alternative.

What Forza 3 really needs is one of these:

2880x900. That's 32:10 aspect ratio.

Alienware has an even slimmer DLP 2880x900 display in the works.

Really thinking about it, though, 2880x900 is a pretty disappointing resolution. I would expect something as blatantly outrageous as a 32:10 curved LCD to have a more awesome like 3840x1200.

Im pretty sure it's OLED isn't it?i don't think you can bend normal LEDs like that, i may be wrong though :Pif it is OLED though, it will last at my house xD

Yeah, it's OLED backlit. Although since it's apparently DLP, you could probably get away with LEDs even with a curved screen (mirrors could make up for the polygonal demi-round mounting of the LEDs).

OLEDs are virtually unbreakable though, and they are more eco-friendly, i had a mp3 player with a OLED screen, was jumping in a mosh pit dropped it stopmed on it a few times, screen was fine lol

But it it's OLED i might pick one up for my gaming rig depending on how much they are

Yeah, I sadly haven't seen any pricing info. As I said above though, I'd need higher resolution to talk me into it. As it stands, I can just get two 1920x1200 monitors and be better off, resolution-wise.
