Its in the shop right now for the Junction Produce Kit.

Its got a healthy group of mods on it.... from the upperlinks/tension rods.New transmission/exhaust mountsECURSb350z wheelsHID'sSound systemand whatever else

But ive just found a deal on a 2000 Audi 2.7t with 60k milesits a 6speed AWD Twin turboBlack with Dark maroon interiorPretty loaded, no sport package. ITs in fablous shape and I have most of the service records from the previous owner. It was a trade in....

I'd only be paying 10k for the car, +smog/saftey, tax.I seriously dont know if I'll be keeping 2 cars that get less than 20mpg. I might just turn the Q into a VIP style car.

I dunno...Dillemas dillemas. I'd be hard to sell it, but if I did...It would go right to another nico member

Not on the long run. Even CR knows how notoriuosly unreliable those are.

Larry, DO NOT BUY A 2000 AUDI S4!!!!!! I've already researched the crap out of it, and even the owners say not to do so. Let me find you info and post why...

On turbo failures (see second link) " There are failures unfortunately, and when they do fail it's talked about very vocally because the price is extreme: $4-5k to have them replaced. "

http://www.audiforums.com/m_279895/tm.htm But if you're serious READ THIS ONE! >>>>>>>>http://www.audiworld.com/tech/misc45.shtml

If you're going to get an Audi, I'd recommend an A4 Quattro 1.8t. Some people like to say the 1.8t is slow, but I find it damn fun to drive. Plus, they have a nice ecu upgrade out for it: http://www.goapr.com/Audi/products/index.html

If you really want an S4, don't let it be your daily driver.

Larry,Don't buy a Audi, they are JUNK cars. I've owned a S4 previously since brand new for approx less than a year... at 17K miles the turbo called it quits and it took out the engine also. Needless to say I ended up putting a motor in the car, cats, intercoolers, throttle body, turbos.... it cost Audi 20K dollars in parts and labor.

If you want a good reliable car that will NEVER die on you, get a 95 Max 5spd. You can beat the snot out of it every day and it will just keep on going and going. VQ is one magnificant engine, even with my bling bling VH45 nothing stops my lil VQ. Its by far the best V6 engine in the world, and I am not biased in any way even thou I own one. I'm looking at possibly selling my Q also... need something faster... and a friend of mine has been grilln me bout buying his mint 93 NX2000 w/SR20VE swap for over a month now.

The Audi is a downgrade in every conceivable sense. Don't do it.

Audi is putting out some nice products right now. The new S4 is actually a great car, but it's a 4.2 V8 now instead of the 2.7TT. But I'm convinced that if I ever bought an Audi, I'd buy it new and make sure it gets through the warranty period first. If Audi is doing as good with reliability as Volkswagen is - which I'd imagine they would with the use of the same engines - then I'd say it's safe to go Audi... as long as it's 2003 or newer (2003 not including the S4).

If you did sell it, what would your hypothetical asking price be? And does the AC work now?

Yes, I'm actually interested.

The early 1.8t had sludge problems, but I -think- those were resolved after a while.

The A6 is a twin turbo? I thought it was just a 2.7 single turbo V6. The A6 is actually the safest way to go if you're going to go Audi. The 2.8 is the best V6 they made until the 3.0 though. I just thought when you said twin turbo, you meant S4.
