Yep he found my friends old car that he sold to some kid that had no clue what he had. It was a B13 Sentra SER w/ a FWD redtop motor and JWT ecu. The guy at the junkyard said only 200$ for it... what a steal. Ill get pics asap. Man i wish i could make finds like this.............dang.

se-r came with sr's stock, and a painted valve cover ain't worth much. The JWT ecu is useless to you unless you know exactly what mods it was setup for.

you're an idiot. its the gti-r motor. sr20det. non-stock. it was my buddies old car that he sold to some kid that wrecked it and it ended up in the junkyard. and the ecu isnt worthless. it cost like 600$ to be tuned by jim wolf. dayuuummmmmmmm

I'm an idiot? You're the tard coming here trying to brag about some overly-vague crap about a junkyard find and expecting everyone to be psychic. Shut the hell up, go back to watching MTV and stop trying to be such an e-thug, moron.

Bro, there's no need to call other people idiot's because they didn't get part of a post. If it was your buddy's old car you could have specified it in the first post. Great find, sure, but about the ECU, yes it is worthless to you because JIM Wolf custom tunes each ECU for specific applications. So unless you are running the exact same mods in your car or whichever car you plan on putting that in, you are going to have to re-tune it, thus making it useless...

Still no reason to jump on someone so fast though.

retuning is only $200 bucks on a already tuned JWT ECU.. $200 is better then $600 rendering it USEFUL!

yes i am sorry, i didnt mean it that way... so sorry man, and yes you are correct 200$ is cheaper than 600$ to retune it.

Also it wouldnt be for my car, i already have a blacktop sr20det and a redtop sr20det... so itd be for my friend that found it.

Now only if i can find a gt28 ball bearing turbo in a junkyard, id be in heaven. haha but yeah ill show you guys pics later. my friend took them with his phone so now all he has to do is figure out how to upload them (he just got the phone), but ill get them up soon. peace out girlscouts.

Now you see that? Hope just gained my respect. A man that acknowlegdes his mistakes, takes ownership of it and apologizes gets mad props from me. Well done.

Do you think we could put together one of those mini-godzilla GTi-Rs over here? It's probably the only hatch car that I would drive.

Words to live by: Never above you, Never below you, Always beside you. Tuners should always remember that we are here for the love a car and for the respect and admiration of our peers. Congrats to anyone who is lucky enough to find anything of value in a junkyard (cause we all know how picked clean they can be). I should know. I found my KA24DE 240sx in one and grabbed the whole car for $100.00!!!!! The only thing it needed to drive it home was a new battery. Mad props to you all. 1
