I was at Triwerks today just chilling and I went to leave and some guy in a white Chevy silverado comes hauling A in the parking lot with a trailer (about 30MPH) and clips the rear of my car...

He kept going and I called the cops, about 10 min later he came back with the cop that took my report. lol.

On to the pics..

How bad is it?

Man, that sucks... Much worse than what happened to me, but hey, at least his insurance should cover it... Hopefully you can fix it. Doesn't look that bad, really. Good luck with that man!

Word up like Cameo. There should be a douche violation when you hit a damned parked car that carries an appointment with the crusher for first time offenders in a case like this.

Sorry to hear it dude. I hope it works out for ya with the insurance claim.

if they do just buy it back and throw a new bumper and lights and rock it the way it is. or fix it, that qp fix shouldnt cost more than 700 to have a shop do. stud puller and bondo, or overfenders and balla wheels

I know you don't want to hear it but... I'd be surprised if they didn't. That's a whole lot of work to fix that q-p. Atleast the guy has insurance... Good luck bro.

Really sorry s14tan. Looking good before that.

It's repairable... but it'd be hard as hell to do without insurance money...

Glad you found that fackhead who ran, hang a silverado badge now!

Man that sucks...I hope they don't total you out, but I would be surpised if they didn't as well. They are going to get the MSRP prices on all the parts and that will add up and the damage to the qp looks like its quite a bit of work because of the corner.

but someone already said it, you should be thankful that the person who hit you had insurance and the police actually got him. When my car was stolen they didn't even put a description of the car out. They sent an officer and he showed up almost an hour and a half after my wife noticed the car was stolen...but we got it back.

Damn dude... That really sucks! It looks like that Chevy ate your bumper! It's not that bad compared to the new S14 I bought. All you mainly need is a new bumper and tail light. Hopefully everything goes well.

So the ***hole just turned without taking into consideration the trailer he was hauling and it clipped your rear?

Some people really shouldn't be driving... I mean, come the **** on, be careful when you're driving a big *** truck, let alone with a trailer.

It's sad seeing all these 240s get smashed and parted out... Hopefully yours doesn't go that route. It's going to really suck in the future when 240s are even harder to find.

If they total it, you would prob. have the option to buy it back super cheap, and with that money you can fund the overfenders and new wheels

taillight, bumper, and a rather simple pull on a frame machine

although frame machine time is a 300 or so minimum around me, and thats to put it on the frame machine and to take it off, no repairs included in that price

but there dont looks to be any sharp creases in the QP, so its not crumpled, its just a lil shorter then it should be, lol

dont even, this can be fixed easily unless these pictures are worse than i think. I'm very sorry to hear about your accident though and i wish you the most luck.

The last time someone had insurance check out their vehicle in a similar situition (1/4 panel and bumper), they deemed it totaled. But i wish you the best of luck and from what i can see it shouldnt be that hard of a fix. idk about the bumper support but it all seems fine from the pictures, i havent looked at every post in this thread due to Budweiser, pull some dents in the qp, bondo if needed, and replace rear bumper.

+1 for the honda emblem.

That sucks! I really liked your car. It was one of the first ones that caught my eye when I first joined Nico. I say keep the car and get it repaired. Save it from the scrapper!! You do really need a Silverado badge to hand now. That Honda emblem was bad luck even if it was hanging on the tow.

I really was thinking about over fenders but not sure if it will cover it up... what do you guys think?

Time for some LED tail lights, over fenders and some aero.
