so my car got backed into

yea,funny story actually.me and my mom were leaving to go to the atm,she was in her car and i was in mine because she was going to a friends and i was going to the mall to do some close-to-last minute christmas shopping.since she usually takes her tim i started back out.now my driveway is weird.as your pulling up it goes to the left which is where i park and my mom parks to the right.as im almost perpendicular to her she puts her brand new lexus into reverse and starts backing up because she thinks im going to wait for her.i see her coming and i cant try to clear her because she would have hit in the front quarter and slid down the car so i stopped and tried to hit the horn and throw it into drive but fail miserably.so she smashed right into my door.it isnt too bad but i cant open the door from the outside,so passengers have to get in dukes of hazard style.im gonna get an estimate tomorrow,and so is she.her car will probably cost 3 times as much as mine to fix.the good news is tthat since the car is 14 years old the paint has faded,so it wouldnt match if we just painted the door.so i get to have the whole car repainted.im thinking either red or black.

that sucks, but unless you need your s13 looking perfect, i would just get a door from a junkyard and rattle can it close enough. you can always paint the car later

oh its gonna be fixed.i was kinda mad at first but now that i know its gonna get fixed im happy.it has a fair share of dents and the top has son damage and the hood,front bumper, and rear spoiler have almost no clear coat on it.but we were talking about it tonight and im supposed to get a new car soon for a graduation gift but she agreed to let me take the 10k for the new car and drop it into the 240 because as much as id love an fd(thats what i would be looking for)id much rather have a car that i built myself and thats one of a kind than a stock rx-7 thats like pretty much every other one out there. so if i go that route expect a build thread up in the next few months.

lol its cool i would have done the same thing.but as of right now my plans for it are: sr(ill be going from at to mt),new carpet,350z seats,suspension,wheels &tires, upgrade the stereo,and a few other things.im not racing it,or atleast not right now,so i dont need a ton of power and i want it to have a clean look and i want the ride to be as comfortable as i can make it,which probably wont be too comfortable but oh well.
