first thing to do is see if the diaphram is stuck up you can do this one of two ways 1st you can do it by pushing it up by hand if it does not go up its already stuck open. 2nd way is with hand held vacuum pump and feeling to see if it is moving up. Or if car is running it should stall when vacuum is applied. Next if it passes these tests EGR should NOT get engine vacuum at idle!!!! Let me know what you find my e-mail is [email protected] I can send you more info

Did you check your codes yet? I'd hate to hear you did all this work without checking the easiest thing possible...

Just a thought but what about your ground from the nagative battery terminal? I saw a write up on here about it a couple of months ago...I'll go search for it.

Alright, um, check the codes, I actually don't know how on nissans, just subaru's. Negative battery terminal, maybe, but I got a optima gel pack battery just before, and am pretty sure it's on well. Let me know.
