Not related to my 240, but i destroyed my moms transmission recently, and now its going to cost 2000 to fix canadian, ****in ****ty as HYUNDAI Korean garbage....

you all better watch what your saying, im korean and proud of it. so maybe our cars arent up to "white upper class america standards"...give us a break. i drive a 1995 240sx and its the sweetest car ever. doesnt mean i hate on other cars. i mean it was ok to say it was crappy but for someone to name every korean car company and say it sucks. thats wrong. that just symbolizes that you hate on me, even if it is true. you dont like it, dont buy it plain and simple. dont hate. i live by the standard of "just brush the haters off" but this one pissed me off. btw, this is a great first impression of the .org i seriously hope this isnt how the community is. all i got to say.

What are you talking about? Nobody mentioned ANYTHING about a korean nationality or having "white upper class american standards". We agreed that hyuandai, daewoo and kia's SUCK. That has nothing to do with your nationality. You know what? Ford sucks too, and i'm canadian! Woop de F*CK!

Korean Cars do suck, but that's okay. Lots of American, Japanese, and European cars suck too. Look at the Yugo, or the Metro.

Yeah I agree it has nothing to do with nationality, or standards (well not white upper class standards). Korean cars blow, they are in the same category as Saturns. There are tons of good and bad aspects to every society, so don't get offended that your cars suck....that would be like me getting offended when people say that American politics are corrupt....there is just no correlation. Just cause Korean cars suck, you don't have to get your panties in a bunch....look at all the crappy American cars. My parents have not had to date, one American car that hasn't just fallen apart after 100k.

You get annoyed, but its the truth, Daewoo didn't stop American distribution for no reason...its because their product was inferior.

Hey Aspec. If you're such a Korean patriot, why are you driving a 240sx and not a Tiburan? I'm an American who likes Nissans/Toyotas, that doesn't make me anti-American. If you read an unbiased publication like Consumer Reports, you'll notice all the Korean manufactured cars still lag behind the Japanese in quality and reliability. That's not a slap at Korea, it's directed at those manufacturers (some of which are partly owned by Ford and GM) that are choosing to build cheap cars. Regards.
