well, I was thinking I would wait for the 2010s, but dropped by my local dealer today and got a deal I couldn't say no to on an 09. The changes on the 10s didn't seem big enough to wait for, at least not for me. So the G37xS sedan is in the garage.

Too bad it's now snowing, means the car sits for a few days until the roads are clean. Gotta keep the new car clean for at least the first coupe of days don't you?

Platinum Graphite with Graphite interior. The color was another reason not to wait, who knows if the replacement colors will look quite as nice.

Woooohooooo

Congrats on your G.

Don't let her sit in the garage. Go and have some fun in the snow. It will cut thru snow with no effort. Don't wor about cleaning. Worry about that later.

Mine has sooooo much road salt deposit on it. It became whitish. I need to clean it but kind of busy. Working like a damn horse 13-14 hours every day for the last week and some. Today would be the lasy for this year so should be good to clean mine tomorrow.

Load some pictures so we can drool.

Congrats on the new ride!Unlike everyone here, my G is Brown and white, with just mucky brown snow splattered all on the side from cars driving by and kicking up road snow onto it. I've washed it monday and yesterday and I plan to wash it today. Just one of the benefits of working at a dealer The G37xS is exactly what I want. 4 doors, 4 wheel drive, 4 sport driving. I hope I get $40k as a RAK from someone....

Yeah, I'll be looking to make some small changes to things over time. First up is the clear bra (probably the whole front) and tinted windows.

I may have to get the car out in the snow tonight to help get the family to Christmas Eve services, maybe the brother-in-laws will ride with me so I can slide around a little. So much for the spiffy clean car.

Pics tomorrow in the sun!

Nice Pics!!!! Did you get a chance to test her in the snow?? I'm thinking 'no' based on how clean she is.Wish we would get some more frozen stuff here, plenty of cold rain.

Looks like some snow might be on its way this coming week. If it does I'll go see how she handles in it. Got the first small scratch in the paint, time to get her dirty too.

Congrats on the new car! Looks like you went to the right dealership too. I got mine at Mike Ward as well, and I drove from C. Springs to get it. I haven't been overly satisfied with their service (most of it might be due to the fact that I am driving 70 miles to get service done), but they aren't 'bad' either.

Get the clear bra for sure...especially here in CO, too many rocks & stuff flying around!

Congrats again!

ouch, driving 70 miles for service sucks. I'd be interested to hear about your concerns on the service aspect of things. The purchase process was great, but I was buying, so now I'll see how service goes. I'm only 20 minutes from the dealership.

Couldn't you take your ride to the dealership in the Springs?

Did you get the full front end covered or just the hood and mirrors?

A pretty small list, the G and then the MDX and TL (AWD).

I really dig the look of the 09 MDX, but decided pretty quickly I wanted to stick with the driving charactersitics of the G, I also thought the MDX was a bit to stiffly sprung and for 300HP a little too much foot actions need to get it moving quickly.

I like the look of the new TL (gotta get the right color) and thought the audio system was a fair bit better than the G and I also liked the bigger back seat. But the extra drivers cabin room that I thought I would like ended up being a negative, just wasn't as comfortable as I am in the tighter G. The TL (at least in auto) is noticeably slower off the line. The ride also seemed to have a buzz about it that the G doesn't have. Nice car and I certainly would be happy to drive it daily.

The driving comfort of the G, the looks and the performance all rock, and I picked it for the driving experience. Smaller back seat, no big deal since 98% or more of the time it's just myself and maybe my wife. Radio is good enough and tons better than the 12 year beater I just ditched.

Nice choice of color!

I bought mine from Infiniti of Denver and actually switched over the Mike Ward for service. I took the car in 3 times for the same two issues to Infiniti of Denver and they couldn't fix them (rattle in front passenger door and wind noise in back window). Took it to Mike Ward once and Arnd was able to fix them first time. My 30,000 mile service is coming up in about 800 miles so we'll see how that goes as well.

For the front clear wrap I went all the way around, hood, front bumper, front lip, and the side mirrors. I think it's a must around here with all the rocks and stuff that get thrown up at the cars.

My car is a little different from stock - and it's plate is G35X, so if you see it around town feel free to honk or wave - I'll wave back:

Also, I would agree with you about the MDX, but for a 7 passenger SUV the thing does get up and go. The wife has an 08 MDX that she loves, but for me I like the handling of my G better(please excuse our BMW, I know some people don't like them on here ):

Thanks, I always gripe about the gray and silver cars, but something about the platinum graphite, while a shade of silver/gray sure looks sweet.

If you are happy with the window tints and clear masks, where did you get them done?

That lineup makes for a nice looking garage. Still love the look of the MDX.

Platinum Graphite (or K51 as I know it...) has a unique deep gleam you don't see in regular silvers and gray. Platinum Graphite is just beautifully awesome. Like Boobs, you just love looking.

I'm very happy with the tint and the masks. I was very skeptical that they would be able to get the mask to shape to all the contours without creasing or air pockets, but they did. The mask is clear all around and not wavy - like I've seen in spots on some other cars.

I went to:

Abra Auto Body & Glass

(303) 346-7440

9115 Commerce Center Cir, Highlands Ranch, CO 80129

Ask for Jeff, he is the manager. It's not actually done there onsite, they have a 3rd party do the work, I just don't know the name or I'd send you there directly. But they have done the mask and tint on the G, the MDX, and the BMW with no issues at all.
