so I was out one night car started to have a nasty gravel sounding noise in the transmission it went away and came back every then and again and now its just ridiculously loud, my clutch pedal falls to the floor but when the car is off it has pressure. it won't go into gear.while on my way home I saw smoke coming from the inside under the dash so I cut the car off and was going to coast to my house down the street, WELL my car didn't shut off I was in second gear and I pushed it into neutral and it shut off immediatly. so thats my transmission problem. I was driving home and my stepdad being lame attempted to wire this fan controller while I was at work and it failed horribly so he hot wired it to my fuel pump and I drove it to my friends and bought a fan controller wired it up because with that wired to the fuel pump my car wouldn't cut off for 10+ seconds after I turned the key off. and on my way home my car started smoking really bad it was dark so I couldn't see where it was coming from I know a lot was coming from under the dash IE my glove box. now to the other problem of overheating, I was driving home from work and I see my temp climb so I shut the car off coolant was bubbling but I didn't let it get to hot. I worked on it for the next few days wiring new fans in checking the problem out, I put a new thermostat in and replaced the water pump because my lower hose was staying cold and the neck on my radiator broke somehow and the hose fell off today the neck to the hose on the passenger side on top of it. anybody have a upgraded radiator they wanna sell?thanks I hope I can figure this out this is my DD

alright smoke under the dash was my heater core fixing that, and my transmission problem is still there. haven't started the car yet since I'm waiting on my new godspeed radiator to come hopefully tomorrow.

When was the last time you changed the gear oil in the trans?

As for the clutch pedal. It almost sounds like the fluid was heating up.

I just replaced the clutch a 1000 miles ago then the noise came. it has full fluid as far as I know advance told me I believe 3 and half or 2 and a half I don't know it was a minute ago I used 80w-90 the transmission shifted smooth till I was sliding one night and this noise randomly started. the pedal also has no pressure when the car is off. but is easy to put into gear when off but while on, it won't wanna go into any gear. I believe I shot a dampner spring out of the clutch ..ps thanks for the help you've helped me out a lot on this site everytime something goes wrong.

front main seal was leaking checked it out after I saw it was spraying oil, my crankshaft pulley was cracked as hell and I don't know how? it seems this car just hates life right now everything possible is going wrong my timing chain is RIDICULOUSLY louder than normal and I got another bad t-stat. and my transmission is complete **** right now clutch has no feel after the car is on for like 10 seconds, and my head is stripped I pulled all of the bolt out to pull the timing chain guide thinking that could be why its making so much noise and I put the valve cover back on same bolts in the same holes in factory order and used silicone with a new gasket and only one bolt stays in. anybody got a KA for cheap haha? this is also the first time I have started it since I put a new godspeed radiator in and taurus fans and my car still runs a little above halfway its hard to tell cause I'm used to the regular cluster but I installed a digi clutster a few months ago.

ahh man the inevitable happened I dropped the transmission and it was the flywheel the bolts snapped and ruined the crankshaft which explains why my seals were leaking and I cracked a crankshaft pulley.. three of the bolts broke clean off and its unfixable time to get another dual cam. anyone selling one in or around NC I could come pick up. money in hand.
