sr has been having some problems and the cat was glowing red one day so today i cleaned out a cat to see if that was the problem, and well nothing happened. still have a shaking issue and it does not want to rev like normal. did a little diagnosis and the only thing i could find was that the vacuum line to the bov/egr valve thing(green stripe on it) it had no vacuum to it. is it only a boost line?

then when i disconnected the other vacuum line it ran the same, and when i took the valve cover cap off nothing changed. i know its suppose to idle down but nothing happens. prity soon its going to a shop if i can't figure it out but i would imagine it is a vacuum error but the vacuum lines are put in place like they are suppose to be. no leeks it seems.

i know that was a novel, but no idea what is wrong i am going to search more on the internet. but no idea. any help would be greatly appreciated.

i could blow into the bov vacuum line and i could hear air leaking i pinched it all the way to the intake manifold and it seemed fine but i could hear air passing through it. is that normal?

it is idling around 1k rpm. i am using the stock vac line set up, with the big nipple blocked off due to i am not using a canister. i am using a blitz bov and the stock side mount is just hanging out down there. i should plug its vac line but i did not think that would matter at all, but now that i think about it, its kinda simple.

i got new plugs in it i am getting fuel for sure. i still have to disconnect the vac line from the fpr to see if the rpms go up to see if it is a bad fpr. the sr seems totally fine but the shaking and now not revving correctly. i am totaly lost on everything with this now.

<grammar messed up cause this was a person message that i copied and pasted with some additional info>

If the cat is glowing you have a major exhaust restriction. Remove the cat and see if it fixes the issues.

What kind of new spark plugs did you install and did you gap them? Is it throwing any codes. Almost sounds like its going lean=no good.

What is your timing set at? Did you set it at factory idle?
