All,

Hate to say it, but i've now moved on. Haven't been on for a while just wanted to give you all an update.

Sold the A/C about 3 weeks ago, wife finally gave me an ultimatum. Had to buckle. But in a moment you'll understand why.

Basically, she wanted me to have a vehicle more aligned with the family's needs (Read: A car that can hold all five of us at the same time). The reality of this was in the 2+ years of owning the A/C this requirement was necessary only twice; and, once was the family test when we bought the A/C....

I'd did however make out pretty well. Gave her an ultimatum back that I would move, and that she could set the requirements, except for price and choice.

So, I now drive a 4-Door, MB CLS 550. It only took her 24 hours to say OK.

All in all a melancholy event, I loved my coupe, and love my current ride. I will continue to follow the forums.

Good luck guys,-- Wind

Ursus,

You are correct. When my wife buckled 24-hours later she gave up on the 5-Person requirements and backed off to a 4-Adult requirement.

Basically, it was a graceful way to get to a final decision. I was very clear that it's the coupe or this....

Daan,

Sorry to say it is not new, nobody buys a new Luxury car in this economy ....

I bought a cherry 2007 with 13k miles. Apparently owned by an old lady in Oklahoma......

Still want a picture, no problem, will send some out in the future.

Alchy,

The rims are Moda MD2's. I got them from Tirerack along with tires. They are good rims, had very little probles (other than my wife scraping them a couple times) ....

you're wrong there windhaven... plenty of people THAT DON'T KNOW ANY BETTER do it all the time... ... such a waste of money ... as far as luxury cars go... in this economy, pre-owned is the way to go... sorry, but you can't call a CLS 550 used.. it's just pre owned...

loved your old car, and love your new car.... jump in here from time to time buddy
