alright so its been way too long...long story short i still got my J...just picked up another one for parts...in the process of rebuilding the motor in mine...since ive been on ive had a jeep cherokee drive over my hood and been through a transmission...FYI ill be parting out this other J i just got...if your interested call 713-553-9739 and leave a message...lost the phone but i can still check my voicemails and if your serious about needing something ill call u back from my wifes phone...NOSAINT if you want those headlights i got em...anything else yall need let me know...got big plans for the J this summer...had a lot of troubles over the last 6 months but im starting to get things back to normal and that means i get to tinker with my car again...just thought id drop in and say hi to everyone...

Is this the same J30 you were parting out as last time or is this a new one?

Does it have the keyless entry remote or control unit?

different J...i got the other one fixed...gave in and got another transmission...i dont have the key fob for this one but im sure it came with one when it was new...not too sure where that unit is or how difficult it would be to get to...last i heard it was somewhere in the dash and is a real PITA to get to

The keyless control unit it is in the trunk to the left, behind the black trim panel. Pretty easy to get out once those plastic screws are removed.

I just need to know if it will match the same FCC ID ever since Jspout screwed by saying the remote and control unit share the same FCC ID.

is the leather the lighter cream color? i know there is a darker tan but im in desperate search for the lighter tan for the drivers side door panel and seat. i now have a giant hole in the seat and my door panel has a big grease spot where i rest my elbow. i sort of messed it all up doing the manual swap and not completely cleaning myself before driving it.
