Well I just found out something extremely lame with this HU. I can't manually edit CD information. My Pioneer HU I bought for my old truck in 2001 had this feature. I like being able to have the name of the CD displayed on screen. I researched it and if the company doesn't put that info it, I am out of luck. I can't believe a CD player from 14 years ago has features that one from 2015 does not. That Pioneer HU also had different display settings like Dolphins and some other stuff. As far as I can tell, this one only changes color. I though being able to edit any CD you have was standard. Incredibly lame that this one does not. I know I know, I should have researched that before I bought it but again, I assumed something 14 years ago was standard today. Oh well.
It will probably take me awhile to get the sound just right. There are a bunch of different EQ options and mid and bass and tre etc to go through. I hope I can find the right balance. Oh and the AM is a tad better but still not clear. The guy told me it's likely the Bose amp and he can try hooking up a frequency boost or whatever it's called and that might fix it but it would be like $30 extra so I said no.
