How long does it usually take for aftermarket companies to start making parts for new models? I was so eager to hook up my car, and decided since I had a warranty anyway, that I would just wait a year until some parts come out. It's been nearly a year, and the only parts out are the same ones that came out from the beginning. Where are these new bodykits, projector lights, taillights, turbos, suspension kits, etc. I mean as far as illuminated kickplates and blue led's for the interior, those are fine, but I think its absolutely ridiculous that we're making our own damn projectors. I know not everyone feels the way i do, some gained some profit, experience and had fun doing all this, but that's just how i feel.

sorry for the b* & moan session.

Find a car that has products launch faster than this...A new platform of car, with a few suspension offerings (more on the line)...

Endlinks3 bodykits2-4 brake kitshood dampnerssway barturbosLBC Tail overlays

and a few more....

Maybe the AC wasnt on the top of the list to some 3rd party manufacturers.. but based on the sales numbers of the AC, it would behoove them not to offer more products to such a hungry community...

Since our altima coupes are special and mainly distributed in america and canada, it takes a while for overseas aftermarket companies to research and develop parts because it is hard and there is no demand over there since they have no a/c! Companies in the states are slowly in the process of developing parts but they need to r&d too. the economy is taking a toll on them and plus as LBC stated the sales of the a/c may play a factor too.

Id take a stab and say the Pontiac G is in the same class as our ac's...

Wheres their aftermarket support??

Nico and AltimaCoupe.com are THE reason for some of the aftermarket following we already have, and it is the cornerstone for developing more!

Yup, just give it some more time - companies had already been working on tons of other projects before our car even came out - R&D can take a long time! Give it a little while longer, things will be coming out soon - just look at the old altimas - there is a lot of support there!

My G6 buddies can't believe how much aftermarket support there is for our cars after only a year. How long has the G6 coupe been available? A year and a half...two years maybe? They don't have half the stuff we do right now!

........except they do have aftermarket grills......
