So I went to Indiana. I've driven through it before, never actually stopped to visit. Wes and I worked on fixing my Q and taking his apart. I stayed with his folks at a lake and we worked on the Qs at the marina. Great people, good food, good times.
Pics:
Warning to my stepbrother, left on my bed before leaving town.
Stuckeys! I took this picture mostly for my brother, who also digs the game "Sam and Max Hit the Road"
One HUGE cross right after the "Welcome to Indiana" sign.
97/98 Q45
The view out of the room I stayed in.
A corpse on wheels.
OWNED!
The marina, and mini-Wes on a scooter named "Waldo"
Reason #342978 why I should not be a mechanic or a surgeon.(Me with a flashlight looking for ANOTHER freaking tool I lost.)
We met up with Tim, another NICO member. His 91 Q is PLATINUM.
850HP under one roof (not including all the boats)
Where I stayed.
Went boating. I need to convince my parents to get me a speed boat.
Such a crowded work space. (Sarcasm)
Wes doing rack bushings on my car. I wasn't much help. While I was laying under the car I fell asleep twice.
I brought my dollar store "dork light" which came in handy a few times.
Disposing of leftover sparklers.
"My sparkler died."
Home - Where 15 year olds get to gamble!
My piece of crap tools made in Taiwan.
"Please MTV, pimp my ride!"
DC's visitor center isn't open on Sundays, darn it.
I spent 100 miles playing highway tag with a Lexus LS430.
My wonderful hosts, the "Snipes" crew.
Hanging with hoosiers was cool, but nothing is quite like home sweet home.
Anything car-related or involving the work done this weekend will be posted later in Infiniti General.
